Interest Groups
The activities of the IIAS are focused around our Interest Groups. The purpose of these groups is to provide focal points for member education and discussion.
Currently, we have Interest Groups which are active in the following areas:
SECURITY AND ANTI-PIRACY
- Objective: To build confidence in using the Internet for e-commerce and non-commercial purposes.
- Targeted at: All businesses that are already using, or exploring to use, the Internet for e-commerce; anyone who wants to make more effective use of the Internet.
THE REALTIME ENTERPRISE (TRTE)
- Objective: To encourage the practical use of Internet technologies in Singapore companies in order to enhance business development within the region.
- Targeted at: Companies with an interest in using the Internet to support their business processes. Open to all: End-user companies (having the actual business requirements), IT departments (tasked with implementation), ISVs (developing products), solution providers (providing system integration).
