The official launch of the Internet Industry Association of Singapore took place on 3rd March 2005.

IIAS Chairman Anton Ravindran presided over the official launch of the IIAS at Raffles City Convention Centre on March 3 2005. Guest of Honour for the launch was the Hon. Minister for Education and Deputy Chairman Monetary Authority of Singapore, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
